French Style Butter Crock. This is a handy addition to your kitchen counter top. Water is added to the cylinder on the left and the butter bowl inserted into the water well. Butter will remain fresh and easy to spread all year without refrigeration. Replace the water every couple of days.

All pieces are microwave, dishwasher and oven safe.

It's nice when the background of this glaze is black in contrast to the crystals.

These pieces were fired in reduction using a wax resist technique.

The crystals on this plate are dense due to the slightly thicker application of the glaze.

Reduction fired, causing the copper content in the glaze to turn a warm purple colour.
